Join Women Give San Diego members for an evening focused on learning about public education policy and its effects on the community. Women Give San Diego member and former State Senator Deirdre “Dede” Alpert will be facilitating a panel that includes LaShae Collins, Assemblywoman Shirley Weber’s Chief of Staff, Allison Ohle, Executive Director of KIPP schools, and Leslie Fausset, former Chief Deputy Superintendent for the State of California and Superintendent for the Solana Beach School District.
The Advocacy Team invites members to listen to these experts, and to learn about current issues in public education from women who built careers in the fields of education and government.
Refreshments will be served, and feel free to bring a guest with interest in Women Give San Diego!
