Join us for our next Coffee Connector with Women Give San Diego grant partner, Casa Cornelia Law Center. Casa Cornelia is a San Diego non-profit law firm that provides free, quality legal services to asylum seekers, unaccompanied children, and immigrant victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. WGSD has given two grants over the years to fund Casa Cornelia’s Victims of Crime Program, which provides crucial immigration legal services to women who have survived serious crimes such as domestic violence and human trafficking. During this legal process, women are able to obtain work permits and begin to provide for themselves and their families, finally free of their abusers or traffickers. WGSD also provided an unrestricted contribution to Casa Cornelia earlier this year, which is currently helping them address new opportunities and challenges that its clients face this year.
